More about this place

Grammeno occupies a small peninsula west of Paleochora, with pebbly stretches on one side and a sandier cove on the other. Its delicate coastal vegetation is part of the appeal. Keep to existing paths and leave roots and young plants undisturbed.

The choice of shoreline is useful for a beach day: look at wind and waves before putting down your towel, then choose an appropriate section. Neither side is calm in every weather pattern. Bring water and sun protection, and do not depend on a particular business being open outside the main season.
